While going through the recent news of riots in Iran and heartless, grotesque murder cases in Pakistan. I realized, once more, that although we have been quite uptight about maintaining a false notion of giving the lesser sex a fair share of their social rights and freedom. But when it comes to reality, not a single country can claim it with confidence. Let me explain how I reached to this conclusion. Just like men, we have modernized women by actually romanticizing their form and shape into a perceived form of a modern deity in order to feed our inner desires of being superior and commanding, in disguise.
Although, this notion of providing equal women rights, equity and employment opportunities have been around for a quite a while, and it has almost become archaic to talk about it anymore. Still, as long as we are supposed to share our streets, living, and working spaces with them, it has to stay like the big elephant in the room that most men would not like to acknowledge. In saying that, I might be hurting egos of many well respected species of my own gender, but I would like to be very clear that it all starts with us and then naturally, being transferred to them. All this violence, differences, hate, doubts, perception, ego…all of it is created from lack of confidence in ourselves, sensed by them, reacted upon (naturally) and then it all ends up in a huge disaster.
I can keep talking about it tirelessly as I have seen it everywhere, from Africa to Asia, Middle East, US, Europe, Russia…everywhere !. Which is why I am writing this article in order to bring awareness to one of the most major factious truism, since the times of Adam & Eve. In closing, please accept my sincere apologies if I have hurt your feelings but if for a single moment, anyone has realized that there was something deep inside their soul that clicked in due to reading this article. I will consider it my major success of this year.
